Marshall County, TN

Not that I'd ever do this, but can you really blame this guy? Sometimes a little puff seems like it would go along way in dealing with the little devils.
A special education teacher has been placed on unpaid suspension following his arrest on a charge of simple possession of marijuana while on school property.

One of the Marshall County High School lunchroom workers saw what appeared to be a partially smoked marijuana cigarette in Robert Jeffrey Cooper's hand and her observation was passed along to others at the school, according to a report filed by Sheriff's Deputy Travis Childers. '

When Sorrells first asked Cooper about the joint, "he stated that he found it on the floor in his classroom," according to the incident report filed by Childers.
However, when Sorrells asked Cooper to tell the deputy what had happened, the report goes on, "Cooper stated that it was marijuana and that he couldn't lie about it. He stated it had fallen out of his jacket and that it was his joint."

Cooper was arrested and transported to Marshall County Jail. His bond was set at $6,000 and he has a General Sessions Court date of Nov. 18.

Are all Band Teachers Pervs?

52-year-old Raymond Ferenci, a teacher at Tulare Western High School, was charged with having child pornography. Ferenci is the school’s band director and is very popular with the students he taught.

On Thursday, Federal Agents arrested Ferenci after finding more than 200 pictures and videos of child pornography on his personal computer. Agents may have never found the images had three of Ferenci’s female students not reported inappropriate text messages he sent them last May and told them about internet correspondences.

Tulare Police Captain Jerry Breckridge said, “What we began to see was a pattern and we didn’t want this to progress any further. He had the text messages, he had photos and we don’t know what’s going to happen next as far as it progressing to something worse.”

Ferenci has been on paid administrative leave since May and in his Federal Criminal Complaint, he admitted to the crime. Raymond Ferenci is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
